MESHTEC donating 1,200 bottle of drinking water
On August 11th 2019, Meshtec was proud to support the ‘Walking & Running and Cycling’ event at Saraphi Subdistrict Municipality by donating 1,200 bottle of drinking water to the participants.
The activity was organized by the Saraphi Subdistrict Municipal to fundraise for the poor and to improve the quality of life for Saraphi people.

Meshtec Receives National Safety Award 2015
Meshtec are proud to announce that for the fifth consecutive year, we have been awarded the National Award for Safety 2015.
The award ceremony was held on July 2, 2015, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre.
Admiral Surasak Kanjanakul Hughes, the Minister of Labor, presented the award to Meshtec’s safety team.

Trellidor Tanzania opens its doors in Dar es Salaam

Trellidor Tanzania operates out of a newly fitted showroom in Dar es Salaam, where the full range is on display for customers to try out for themselves. The range includes Trellidor Retractable security gates that can be fitted to windows as well as doors; Trellidor Fixed security, which is a burglar proofing range with a number of design options; Trellidor Cottage Guard premium quality burglar bars; Trellidor Rollerstyle aluminium roller shutters; and Trellidor Clear Guard security screens.The PM Group (T) Ltd has been appointed as the official Trellidor franchise owner in Tanzania.
“We’re delighted to be the sole distributors of the full range of Trellidor products because there is an urgent need for more consumer choice in terms of the strength and style of barriers available to help keep residents safe at home and work,” said new franchise owners Mark and Lesley Golding.
“Trellidor Clear Guard is a particularly exciting range as it completely new technology that does more than just protect openings from a break-in attempt. It consists of an industrial grade mesh screen that also keeps out mosquitoes and is proving popular in areas where malaria is a problem,” said Mark Golding.
Other products that Golding foresees as winners in Tanzania are the internationally certified Trellidor Retractable T900 and T1000. These are steel sliding security gates for doors and windows, also known as grilles. They have been strength-tested and approved by the London-based Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), and are ideal for guarding security-sensitive buildings such as embassies and large international corporations.
All Trellidor products are custom measured and installed for exceptional fit and improved strength under attack. They are manufactured at a high tech factory in Durban on South Africa’s east coast. The factory has been rated by the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) to ISO 9001:2008 standards.

After having just won The Star’s Readers Choice Award for Best Security Doors against a whole host of competitors in the Gauteng region, it was very gratifying to win an additional three awards at this year’s Homemakers Expo In Johannesburg.
Months of planning and preparation went into making the Trellidor stand at this year’s Homemakers Expo Gauteng a success, says Trellidor Head Office Franchise Manager Kevin Bonner who managed the project. “Being honoured with three awards was a satisfying end to this outstanding exhibition,” he said.
Local Gauteng Trellidor franchise owners and their staff see the exhibition as a great opportunity to interact with their client base. “We always have our full range of products on show so those of us working on the stand are able to show visitors exactly how each security barrier works. Customers are also able to try out the barriers and see and feel the differences for themselves.”

Show post-mortem
As always, the Homemakers Expo Gauteng was worth the nine-hour shifts over four days. “Show attendance was excellent this year and we saw record numbers of people. Our local franchises have 20% more people to see after the show than last year’s event.”
Many visitors commented on how well-organised the show was this year and how much easier the venue was to navigate, including better signage. “The effort made by all exhibitors was outstanding, making this a great show to attend if you’re in the market for home-related products.”
